Nasal Surgery in Sydney at Norwest ENT

Norwest ENT’s scope of services includes nasal surgery for a range of different purposes. For example, nasal obstruction surgery is performed where the nose has grown in such a way that breathing through the nose is being interrupted. For some patients, it is a suitable way to treat chronic sleep apnoea (snoring).

Whether you have breathing problems or would simply like to improve the appearance of your nose in a natural way, Dr. Tobias Pincock can help. If you have been diagnosed with an obstruction, or if you have reason to believe that nasal surgery may help resolve your symptoms, make an appointment for a consultation at Norwest ENT today.

Medical

Many people suffer from chronic conditions caused by nasal obstruction. These can include constantly feeling like one’s nose is stuffy and blocked, as well as problems breathing whilst sleeping. Sometimes, a deviated (crooked) septum (the division between two nostrils) is the cause of these problems. This can be corrected through a procedure known as septoplasty or septal reconstruction.

Cosmetic

Some people feel as though their nose does not fit their face, or that it looks noticeably unattractive. This can contribute to low self-esteem and reduced confidence. If you have felt strongly about improving the appearance of your nose for some time now, then rhinoplasty (cosmetic nasal surgery) may be right for you.

Combination

When nasal obstruction surgery and cosmetic surgery are performed at the same time, the procedure is known as septorhinoplasty. This is an efficient solution for some patients, as the total recovery time may be reduced. If you have been diagnosed with a partial obstruction and are considering rhinoplasty, this may be the solution for you.
